How to Reduce Stress and Muscular Tension Through Micro Stretching
Stress and muscular tension are common problems that may be caused by exercise, hard physical work, injuries and lack of movement in the muscles. This can be minor, however if left untreated, it can also become serious very quickly. Typically, people receive treatments such as massage therapy, which induces a slight amount of controlled pain on the patient, as it requires pressure applied to the tissue. However, micro stretching is an entirely unique treatment that consists of moving and manipulating the muscles through soft stretch techniques, that elicit no pain to the patient, as the movements required are small and slow.
However, it can be just as effective, if not, more effective than other treatments. This is because Micro Stretching allows for muscles to naturally loosen themselves after tension and stress, and there isn’t any counter reaction muscles have such as soreness as there isn’t any pain inflicted on the patient. Micro Stretching can be used as a treatment to help with many other issues. These may include:
