The Flxme Experience
Regular stretching is as important as regular exercise. But it’s almost impossible to get an intensive, full body stretch by yourself. Flxme’s highly trained stretch therapists will stretch you out in ways most beneficial to you. It's like the difference between brushing your teeth and getting them professionally cleaned.
FST
Fascial stretch therapy was developed to help Olympic athletes recover from injuries. Flxme clients rely on it for the same reason. FST focuses on the connective tissue (fascia) around your ligaments and joints. FST provides the benefits of stretching—improved flexibility and mobility—plus improved posture and balance, and reduced muscle soreness.
Osteopathy
Osteopathy is the best-kept secret in pain management. Your osteopath will gently move your joints and tissues, using resistance and stretching techniques, to improve your range of motion and alleviate your pain. Similar to FST, osteopathy releases tension in the fascia, the connective tissue surrounding your bones, muscles, and organs.
Physiotherapy
Your physiotherapist will evaluate your symptoms and any limitations of your range of motion and strength. This evaluation becomes the basis of a treatment plan tailored to your limitations and goals. Treatment will incorporate strengthening and stretching exercises, and adjustments to your work or workout routines to prevent future injuries.
recover like an athlete
A stretch therapy programme translates into better performance through increased range of motion. By targeting areas of overuse, stretch therapy allows you to recover faster. If you train like an athlete you need to recover like an athlete.
relief of stiffness and pain
Sixty percent of doctor’s visits are due to musculoskeletal issues (stiff, painful back, hips, shoulders, neck). Stretch therapy alleviates that stiffness and pain. Many of our clients come to us after trying other types of treatment and finding them ineffective.
sitting is the new smoking
Sedentary life in the 21st century is the perfect storm for creating short, tight chest and hamstring muscles. Everyday activities like reaching for a coffee cup or tieing a shoe can result in injury. Stretch therapy keeps you doing the things you love!
